A five-step view from context to detail

The Galilean binocular stereo microscope moves through 6×, 10×, 16×, 25×, and 40× magnification. That range lets the examiner establish orientation at lower power, then narrow the field for a closer look without leaving the instrument.

A 12.5× eyepiece, 50–82 mm interpupillary adjustment, and +7 D to −7 D diopter correction support a tailored binocular setup for the clinician.

Shape the light around the question

LED illumination supplies a cool, consistent examination beam. Slit width adjusts continuously from 0 to 14 mm, while slit height moves from 1 to 14 mm and the illumination angle rotates through 180 degrees.

Five slit-inclination positions and a range of spot diameters give the examiner practical control over how light reaches the observed structure.

Four filters, ready within the workflow

The BL-99F brings yellow-barrier, cobalt-blue, neutral-density, and red-free viewing options into the illumination system.

Yellow barrier

Paired with cobalt-blue illumination, the yellow barrier increases the visible contrast of fluorescein staining.

Cobalt blue

Cobalt-blue illumination supports fluorescein-assisted inspection of the corneal surface and contact lens fit.

Neutral density

Neutral-density filtration reduces illumination intensity while retaining the observed field’s color balance.

Red-free

Red-free viewing strengthens contrast between vascular structures and surrounding tissue detail.

The built-in controls allow the viewing condition to change while the instrument remains positioned for the examination.

Positioning that stays under your hand

The BL-99F provides 110 mm of lateral base travel, 90 mm of forward-and-back movement, and 30 mm of vertical adjustment. The chin rest adds 80 mm of vertical travel for patient alignment.

A central joystick, graduated controls, and balanced carriage keep small position changes direct as the examination moves between broader and more concentrated views.

Sixteen megapixels at the point of examination

The integrated 16-megapixel imaging system adds detailed still-image capture to the optical examination. The camera assembly is aligned with the microscope, keeping observation and documentation within the same instrument rather than moving the patient to a separate imaging station.

This configuration is suited to practices that want a direct clinical view and a higher-resolution record from one tabletop platform.
